I believe art should make you feel good. Positive energy that lights up your world. Inspired by the colours, freedom and perfection of Mother Nature and how we are affected by this. Apart from my own feelings I consider two things when I paint for sale; The contemporary world, where buyers want a piece to match their home decor to light up a soft or minimalist room, or modern colours designed to enhance and create a conversation piece. From landscapes to lighthearted fun. Art is often glanced at when you pass it. How wonderful to paint a piece that people look twice at. I tend to work in series of works that will allow a collector to add pieces to a room that compliment eachother. New to Saatachi I have initially listed some varied pieces including kitchen art, animals, whimsical, abstracts, landscapes, and more.

I'm a self taught artist and I have painted since I was a small child. I had the most amazing art teacher at school that painted with me every lunchtime, entering and winning competitions and National awards. As an inner city kid in a family that lived week to week, I did not have the luxury of choice to go to art school to study art and at 16 started work like everyone else around me. In latter years I was lucky enough to work in the art world with on-line art for game applications as an illustrator and designer. I learned a lot but, nothing compares to getting messy with a proper paintbrush! I'm now retired and can fulfill my love of art my way. Having painted in oils, acrylic and watercolour and gouache. I use the finest paints and tools.
