Francisco Mayor

I am originally from Madrid (Spain), born in the old neighborhood of Moratalaz in 1957. I now live in the south of Madrid, a wonderful city full of life.

Soy Español, nací en el antiguo barrio de Moratalaz (Madrid) en 1957. Vivo al sur de Madrid, una ciudad maravillosa y llena de vida.

At age 16 I started my art studies in the Art Academy in Arenal Street in Madrid, after graduation I travelled throughout Europe for 4 years as a street artist making a living painting sidewalks and murals. So I consider myself mostly self-taught. Life and the streets are the best teacher.

A los 16 años empecé mis estudios en la Academia de Arte de la calle Arenal, y tras graduarme viajé por Europa durante 4 años como “street artist” pintando aceras y murales. Mayormente me considero autodidacta. La vida y las calles son los mejores maestros.
