Georgios Psakis

I have always loved photography and enjoyed sketching and painting. I love art but never considered a career in art (never felt I was good nor strong enough). Simple as it is, it took me a long time to understand that one creates for themselves. But then, there is this fire burning inside and you want to share. You want others to see what you see. You want them to feel what you feel and to react to what they see. And I love to see people smile. I love the way the face lights up with a genuine smile. So I hope that my photography and art projects can at least put a smile on your face. I'd like to close this paragraph by thanking my soul-mate for encouraging me to push with my art ideas. Love you deeply.

I am a Senior Lecturer teaching Biochemistry at the University of Huddersfield. I completed my BSc and PhD studies at the University of Leeds and worked as a post-doctoral researcher in Germany for eight years. I speak English, German, Greek and I understand Italian and a bit of French.
