I tend to paint either cityscapes or mind states or combinations of both. Cities can be experienced like giant game sets - bright 3D landscapes you wander through as protagonist and observer. The mind states evolve out of persistent images I need to capture or else they fail to exist outside my mind.
I'm drawn to bright colour modes and love early Renaissance painting as well game art and digital film animation. I've written about this on my blog Renaissance for Real. http://www.glennis.net/real/
