Hally Dinkel

Growing up and living on Shelter Island, surrounded by the overwhelming natural beauty of the east end, I took to photography at a young age to capture those vistas. Developing negatives in the basement dark room with my father, I loved the artistic process from start to finish. Fast forward and I have become enchanted by views of terra firma from the air. Nature's chaos and geometry contrast and meld with each other in fascinating ways and I aim to include some local subject matter, exhibiting the vibrant colors and shapes of things and places on earth from above.
