Helena Kaori Maeda

My work is symbolic/abstract with figurative details. My attention goes intuitive to the hidden forms, …balance… I am fascinated of micro and macro perspectives. The use of varied materials, wood, paper, metal, paint, textile, challenge and allow me to discover new aspects. Kinetic sculptures are often made together with Frank Hietbrink. My artworks are inspired by nature, interactive, reflective and playful.
