About Hella Ridder

The abstract landscape as the individual's ability to turn to the souls inner light to me was the starting point for artistic considerations.

Out of this developed my curiosity about the penetration of emotional states and experiences to which the individual is exposed in the constant confrontation with his environment.
To give this emotional being an intuitive expression and to give the viewer access to this respective emotional state in a magical moment of interaction with the work of art and thus a deep penetration of their own individuality is currently the creative drive and inspiration of mine

Education

Born 1974 in Daun/Eifel and discovered as a teenager, Hella received individual support at an early stage and was accompanied in her personal development by the German artist H. Rötter until around 2001.

The artist turned to abstract painting as an emotionally and intuitively guided means of expression during this first creative period.
On the solid foundation of artistic training, an individual style and ductus developed quickly, which is geared towards the continuous development of new forms of expression and experiences with the aim of a constant change in artistic creation in abstraction.

After spending some years in Istanbul, Rheinbreitbach and Bonn, the artist now lives in Bergisch Gladbach.
