Candido Baldacchino

I was born in Turin where I still live and work. My passion for photography goes back to the 70s when I was just an adolescent. I was watching some TV programmes about war photographers which caught my attention to the point of increasing my passion till it became, in my thirties, my sole reason for living. My first shots were mainly coloured ones and I tended to take pictures of particular subjects which could both interest me and impress other people, from landscapes to portraits, from life to still life.

My portfolios were publishing in magazines of the photography sector such as: Gente di Fotografia, Photo Italia, Reflex, Fotocult, Fotografare,Réponses Photo, Il Fotografo etc.I was asked to hold some workshops, the most important of which are: Holga mon Amour sponsored by PH Libero, Turin, a photo agency I have worked with.
