Mark Osborne Burns

I am a photographer, artist & art enthusiast currently living in the British Channel Islands. I was born in England and spent my childhood & early education there. I later lived in London where I worked with Tony Stone (the guru of commercial stock photography).

In the eighties, I lived in Sydney, Australia where I owned & ran Horizon International photographic agency with Julia Court (now Julia Brooke). I then spent half a year in Hong Kong before returning to London at the end of 1987. At the start of the nineties, I sold the Australian business when my wife Rosemary & I moved to the Bailiwick of Guernsey where we now live with our two adult sons. I continue to live & love art & the medium of photography.

I studied fine art history & design at Somerset College of Art & gained professional photography qualifications through exams, majoring in scientific & technical applications at Salisbury College of Art in the early seventies.
