Jörg Hummel

Joerg Hummel is living in the South of Germany.

His paintings are abstract or informel and created in an intensive dialogue between artist and artwork. His idea is that pictures are media transporting ideas, emotions and experiences from the painter to the viewer. The development process is finally completed by the observer. His perception determines the result. Thus he is part of the work of art.

Joerg's pictures should therefore not provide a finished interpretation. They are often without a distinctive title that already sets filter. The viewer is free in what he sees and how he interprets it for himself.
