Jutta Buecker

After completing my studies in Product Graphic Design in Muenster, I moved to Hamburg to study Illustration. I received a number of awards, among them the Austrian Children’s and Adolescents’ Book Award. My works are well known internationally; many of my books have been translated into over 20 languages, as has my best seller “Rosalie and Truffle”. Also in painting I have a story in my head. I am an environmental activist with the C2C group and engaged in topics such as social exclusion and ‘otherness’. I live in Hamburg with my daughter.
