Katrine Kalleklev

Katrine Kalleklev (born 1973) is a norwegian visual artist. She lives and work in Fredrikstad, Norway.
Her digital photomontages are often dreamy and mystical, like small scenes from an imagined fairy tale world. Her photos are often melancholic and poetic.

In between making art, she illustrates Children`s Books and writes articles about art and artists for the norwegian digital encyclopedia.
Sometimes she also writes poems and stories into the drawer.

She is the happy mother of two boys and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys playing the piano.

She has a Master Degree in visual art from Oslo National Academy of the arts (1994-99) and has also studied literature and art/design.
