14 years as a full-time practicing artist, working primarily as a painter and printmaker.
Residing in Melbourne, Australia.

My work is motivated by humanitarian beliefs and its aim is to demand justice through awareness. My art practise is informed by social and political issues, both within Australia, and on an international scale.
The work I create is approached intuitively, however, my process involves careful planning and much consideration.
I use symbolism within my work. Each painting represents aspects of my research and my connection to the subject matter. The works presented on this site are selected from a five year project about the after-effects of chemical warfare (Agent Orange) used during the Vietnam War. Initially this project began when I started to investigate why I was affected by a bone tumour as a child, and discovered that a disproportionate number of children of Vietnam Veterans have also been diagnosed with bone tumours.Currently I am seeking to facilitate a voice for Indigenous Australians through portraiture.
