I like to explore materials and form, creating pieces that express my love of the effortless balance and beauty found in the natural world. I am interested in exploring, and honouring the inherent character of the materials, allowing them to speak of their own qualities. Carving is the process through which I find my forms, through the removal of material to reveal the form within..

I first trained as a Jeweller at Central St Martins, London. My work evolved from body adornment to sculptural forms as I learnt metalwork, and wax modelling skills through working in notable bronze casting foundries in the U.K, and the USA.
I then began to further explore the process of carving through wood and stone. Taking trips to Italy to learn some of the old traditions of marble carving.
