My work explores the essence of form rather than its realistic depiction, seeking a spiritual and emotional resonance that aligns with expressive and abstract art.
In my recent work, I use texture to create tactile sculptural reliefs that evoke our timeless relationship with nature and spirit. Each piece explores the connection between human, earth, and time — an attempt to touch the still awareness that connects matter and spirit. The process is slow and physical, a dialogue between the material and what it seems to remember.
After a hand injury made working with traditional wet clay difficult, I turned to premium air-dry clay — a medium that allows me to continue my exploration into intuitive, expressive forms.
