Lama Issa

I am a London-based artist with a unique blend of Syrian and Greek roots, who has embraced art as a self-taught talent. Art has been my lifelong passion, starting from my early years when painting and drawing captivated my imagination. However, after moving to London in 2012 to pursue a master's degree in digital media and juggling a demanding city job, my artistic pursuits took a back seat. It wasn't until the arrival of my daughter, Nina in 2020, that I found the inspiration and determination to reignite my neglected love for painting. Motivated by being a role model for my daughter, I strive to exemplify the importance of following one's heart and pursuing true passions in life.
My creative vision draws endless inspiration from untouched and wild landscapes, the wonders of nature, the ethereal evening sky, and breathtaking sunsets. I find profound influence in the works of esteemed artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, and Georgia O'Keeffe.
