Laura Dunmow

Laura is a full-time artist, living and working in Worcestershire in the UK.
Her inspiration is from visionary landscapes that evoke the essence of a place and are explored by the imagination.
Her semi-abstract paintings are representations of her personal journeys, capturing the atmosphere and drama in nature and all of its’ seasons.
Her inspiration is immersed in the classical style of oil painting. Her works centres on the aesthetic values of colour and unity of space, where the use of light and interpreted brush strokes create her distinctive style. They are inspired by Turner's works and how he handled colour with the interplay between the contrast of light and dark.

Laura continues to expand her collection of paintings exploring new horizons. She exhibits and shows her work throughout the UK at large contemporary fairs

She originally studied graphic design and, for over 25 years, worked for many international brands and blue-chip clients. She returned to her love of drawing and painting and retrained her skills, all based on the classical style of drawing and painting in oils. Her passion is time spent creating her collections in her garden studio based at home.

In 2020 her exhibitions were either cancelled or postponed, The next international event is planned for
The Contemporary Art Fair in March at The Sandown Racecourse, Surrey, UK.
