Laura Hickman is an established British artist working in sculpture, painting and print. Previous commissions have included public art and interactive, participatory art pieces.
Hickman's client list is private and includes multi millionaires.
Laura has taken inspiration from Japanese Art and a state of Zen to create her Hygge, simplistic abstract Contemplation and Reflection collection. Painting with oil based inks, her pieces show an 'excellent sense of composition' and would be a 'welcome addition to any home or office'.
Laura says, "the work flows as my hands move the oil filled brushes across the paper".
Painting with fluid acrylics, pouring, flowing and moving the paint across the canvas to create vibrantly coloured pieces, Laura also used tools to create her abstract works.
The more time taken to stare and reflect at one of her paintings the more can be seen. There are more to these originals than first meet the eye.
Hickman is not afraid to experiment and push boundaries to achieve stunning results.
