A Fine Art Graduate of the University of Sunderland, living and working in the North East of England.

My work attempts to question the identity of painting in a modern digital era, encouraging a search for the essence of the medium’s potential. The prominence of the paint acts as a gesture, a constant reminder that this is a painting, not a photograph. The medium claims a separation from the everyday digital image.
