I perceive the changing and creative nature of existence. A sentient being, I access records of this expansive, chaotic world and am excruciatingly content working with an open, yet focused, mind and heart to share them. I experience joy participating with the images that occur when I paint this intangible-conveyed by the visual.

A personal event of new studio and its influence on the work.
I moved my studio to Spartanburg, SC in January 2017 and have a large wonderful space where paintings and drawings can be easily accessed as inspiration and they can be shared easily with invited guests.
Canvases hang easily by clips on a prepared hanging ledge.
I have learned that I can make these quite large, unstretched, loose canvases seem to float on the surface of the wall. It is satisfying.
