About Kseniia Lygina

I'm self-taught photographer from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia.
All my works are filled with magic, fairy tales, unreal reality. I look at the world through rose-colored glasses and my blue dreams come true. I embody them in my works.
I’ve been engaged in photography since 2015. I love my land for the beauty of nature and the good hearts of people. Initially, it was the beauty of nature that lured me into the world of photography. But gradually, photography became for me meditation, therapy, a search for myself. I began to think about who I am, what surrounds me, how I can be useful to other people. So I found my vocation in the genre of fairy tale photography.
I like to create Fine Art portraits of women and translate fairy tales into reality. Also like to create conceptual works. Sometimes dreams come true, you just need a little magic. I like to imagine. I love to come up with ideas, think through the plot, look for a suitable location, model, clothes, props, makeup and hairstyle masters, etc. Wish my tales delight the audience and warm their hearts. More my works you may find in instagram by @lyginaks.
