My artwork often explores the theme of isolation. The body of empty space seeks to magnify and engage the view directly, whilst the potency of barrenness remains poignant - an unknown transient world without the distraction of a fully interactive scene. These compositions illustrate a space occupied, yet remaining isolated, simultaneously being both detached and a part of something. The works highlight the sense of isolation and alienation experienced by the individual in modern society.

While I use a variety of materials and processes in each project my methodology is consistent. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work.
