Mahdieh Vali-Zadeh

I am from Iran; the land of Persia; the land of poetry. What I love most about art is to learn to think and to imagine; something that I find in poetry and then what I do with this sublime material is to put it into colors; abstract or semi-abstract forms. In fact, I depict the essence of poetic creations through a combination of calligraphic forms and abstract painting, which is a by-product of my contemplation and academic studies in English and Persian literature.
