Mandy May Cheetham

Former gallerist and art even curator Mandy May Cheetham aka Mandy Mayhem (Artsy Fartsy Productions) is a jack ass of all trades;

A champion rapper, award winning actress and performance artist who uses the vagina icon as a symbol of empowerment in her work. With statements like "#respectthevag", and by anointing herself the hip hop suffragette, Mandy and her music confronts the sexualization of women and misogyny within the rap world.

Wanting to create a strong visual symbol for her videos, Mandy came up with the idea of a neon pink vagina. Collaborating with artist Orest Tataryn, who specializes in large scale light, neon and blown glass, they developed this original design. The outcome of the collaboration was so inspiring that Mandy has decided to present this limited edition work.

Proceeds from this project will go towards creating the series "MUTHA", a hilarious new darkly comic series about rap, rage and redemption that explores the thesis; It is Never too Late to Be Who You Might Have Been
