I am Mara Light, a passionate artist who has dedicated the past 30 years of my life to the captivating world of painting. My artistic journey has been an amazing journey of discovery, with countless hours of dedication and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.

From an early age, I felt a deep connection to the world of art. As I honed my skills over the years, as a self taught artist, I embarked on a quest to explore various mediums, fearlessly pushing the boundaries of my creativity. It was during this exploration that I discovered the allure of oil paint.

Oil paint, with its exquisite versatility, has become my chosen vehicle for artistic expression. I have spent years mastering its nuances, learning to guide its flowing essence to bring my visions to life on the canvas. The process of understanding how to harness the potential of oil paint has been a rewarding and ever-evolving endeavor.

Throughout my artistic journey, I have found myself particularly drawn to painting figures, with a special affinity for portraying the grace and strength of women.
