Marcus Bacher

Marcus Bacher is a South African / Austrian self-taught abstract artist. Born and growing up in South Africa he was always enthralled by the simplicity of the colorful art and vibrant culture of Southern Africa.

After high school, he returned to his generational Austrian roots to learn more about the art of living earning a degree in hotel and tourism management in Salzburg, Austria.

Marcus has always instilled in him the quality and enjoyment of the art of living. After moving to the United States, he spent time as a private chef, hosting many dinners. While always dreaming of painting, Marcus one day picked up the paintbrush and got in front of the canvas and painted his first picture which he called “the beginning”. Currently lives and works in Dunedin, Florida.
