Working at the intersection of art and graphic design, Marina Murad is an image-maker concentrating on crafting concept-driven narratives through illustration, and interactive media. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, she spent her formative years growing up in a small town of Redlands, California. After earning a BA in Fine Art, she moved to Los Angeles to study Graphic Design at Art Center College of Design then completing her MFA degree at Otis College of Art and Design. She spent the better part of her studies in Amsterdam, studying under prominent Dutch design figures and touring various design studios, participating in workshops and lectures.
