Marina Pinto Miller

Award winning artist, writer and published scholar, with eclectic background in academia and experience in television and radio broadcasting. My work is inspired by music. As I hear music, I see it in color and form and paint accordingly. My natural inclination lies with classical music, because of the depth of harmony and the range of expression and instrumentation. I have been known to paint jazz and recently got into non-Western music as well! To date, I have had the pleasure of painting works by composers such as JS Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Purcell, Dowland, Mahler, Dvorak, Bobby McFerrin and Beethoven among others. My "repertoire" includes opera, leider, Renaissance and Baroque songs, symphonies, chamber music and works for solo instruments so far.
