Mary James Ketch

Mary James Ketch is a contemporary painter based in Norman, Oklahoma. Drawing from scenes from everyday life, her narrative paintings combine the figurative with the abstract to create paintings that are warm, sensual and modern.

Artist Statement// My aim is to reflect back to people the beauty of their lives. I believe our lives are more similar than not, and by drawing on experiences in my own life, I look for the universal--experiences and emotions we all share.
