EDUCATION
Mary Marinan is a Wellington based artist who works across a wide range of subjects; from traditional New Zealand landscapes to non-genre-specific pieces influenced by Art Nouveau greats like Gustav Klimt and Alphonse Mucha. She has also been recently experimenting with "˜functional art', i.e. painting on items like vases and furniture. She believes that art should fascinate and inspire the viewer, and that is what she aims for with every piece.
