Hi. Meruzhan Khachatryan is an Armenian painter whose work is deeply rooted in the cultural and spiritual heritage of his homeland. His paintings reflect the timeless beauty of Armenia — from the symbolic pomegranate and sacred Mount Ararat to the ancient alphabet and spiritual icons that have shaped the nation’s identity.
Working primarily in oil on canvas, Khachatryan blends traditional symbolism with a contemporary visual language. His compositions combine powerful colors, natural textures, and expressive forms, creating artworks that carry both cultural depth and universal appeal. Each piece invites the viewer into a dialogue between history and the present, spirituality and everyday life.
Khachatryan’s art has found its place in private collections around the world, from Europe to the United States. Alongside original paintings, his creative vision extends into wearable art — scarves, T-shirts, and prints that bring Armenian symbolism into daily life.
Through his work, Meruzhan Khachatryan seeks to preserve and share the Armenian spirit with a global audience, transforming cultural heritage into living art.
