Michael T. Noonan is a fine art photographer who’s “Water Series” has gained international attention from the art community. His photographs range from highly conceptual to more literal representations of water from around the world. His work traverses temporal conditions of day and night, chaos and calmness, monochromatic to colorful, muted to vibrant light – all with the unifying beauty using abstractions of water as a universal and essential element.
These raw images are neither enhanced nor edited in any way. The photographs are exactly what the camera captured – without any adjustments, and emphasize the widely disparate and often unexpected appearances water assumes.
The pieces are typically produced in large-scale format, in the natural 2:3 ratio dimension of the digital image. Conventional dimensions are 60x90”, 50x75”, and 40x60” – but a piece can be produced in any 2:3 ratio dimension.
