My name is Michal Kosc (b. 1965). I am a professional photographer, freelancer. I live in Bialystok, in the northeastern part of Poland, just by the border with Belarus. Bialystok is the capital of the Podlasie region, the most “green” in Poland. There are four national parks here; Bialowieski National Park, Biebrzanski National Park, Narwianski National Park, and Wigierski National Park. This region is a melting pot of nationalities not common in other parts of Poland. Belarusians, Tatars, and Lithuanians live near each other in Podlasie. I'm a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. My area of photographic interest is the ethnic and religious multiculturalism of this place as well as the unique wildlife of Podlasie. My pictures appeared in the most popular Polish news papers and magazines.
