ARTIST STATEMENT

I create sculptures that inhabit the spaces between control and instinct, between human and animal, between what is seen and what remains hidden. My work often focuses on urban wildlife—foxes, wild boars, rats—not as zoological subjects, but as metaphors for displacement, adaptation, and quiet resistance.

I’m drawn to figures that stand without pedestals. They appear grounded, almost part of their environment, yet always slightly out of place—like the overlooked creatures that navigate our cities at night. These beings mirror the fragile boundaries we construct between civilization and wilderness, order and entropy, inclusion and exclusion.

Materially, my process combines traditional sculpting with contemporary technologies. I scan, print, and reshape forms using photogrammetry and 3D printing, then return to the physical surface with my hands—modifying, distressing, and finishing each piece until it holds the right presence. The tactile meets the digital; permanence confronts precarity.

I am not interested in ideal forms, but in tension, friction, and subtle imbalance. My sculptures are not monuments—they are witnesses. They reflect the sediment of lived experience, the softness beneath hardness, the absurdity...
