Mita Chandarana

Hello, this is Mita Chandarana.

Born in Bombay and brought up in the beautiful town of Porbandar (Birla Colony), since a young age, I have always been fascinated by nature and all its divine shapes and colors. I was someone who could gaze at a landscape for hours trying to pick apart all the little visual details it had to offer. Eventually, I started tracing it down; a little piece of it for my keepsake. I haven't had any sort of professional training in art but I never stopped drawing or painting either. In all phases of life, that passion of mine stayed constant.

In my art, more attention is payed to textures and lively colors. The palette knife is my medium of choice because to me, it helps bring out the liveliness of the unbound nature in an extra dimension. Though it being most of my art, I don't fail appreciating the delicacy of water colors either. All my pieces are stationed at my in-house studio-gallery called 'Blessing Art Gallery'. Being an avid traveler, I learned to observe and preserve everything that beautifies our lives and helps enrich it. This is my little contribution to the same.
