Martin Baker

Architecture and beautiful buildings large and small have always been my preferred subject to paint, I started out by making studies of those that interested me purely for pleasure.

After being persuaded to exhibit my work I began to receive many private commissions so this led to long periods of time spent in my studio. After several years of painting I decided there was far too much world outside so travel and other adventures took over.

After many years of mischief I have recently begun to create general studies again, now based in London I'm surrounded by inspirational buildings and enough potential subjects to last me a lifetime.

I now look forward to making some of these studies available to a much greater audience here on Saatchi Art so I do hope you enjoy my work.
