Nandini Hirani

I’m Nandini and I am the artist behind ND Creatives. I am a self-taught abstract artist and I create paintings with the aim to inspire & motivate people to live a purposeful & fulfilled life.

I went to university and studied Chemistry, which led me to begin a career in the analytical field. Although it was interesting, I knew that deep down my true passion was art. Painting has always been my way of expressing my thoughts and who I am to the world. So, I took the plunge and decided to pursue art full-time!

I paint with acrylic paints on cotton canvas, in a large range of sizes and colours. I place particular emphasis on textures and metallic to add more dimension to each piece – it’s not just something to look at, it’s something to feel and absorb! The inspiration for all my paintings comes from my own life experiences and personal development journey along with the beautiful world we live in.

I studied Chemistry at Aston University, Birmingham. I only studied Art&Design up to AS Level but did not decided to pursue it as a career until I graduated from University. I am completely self-taught and only painted as a hobby up until 2019.
