Niloufar Rezaei

Hi!

I am Niloufar Rezaei (Niluartes), but you can call me Nilu! I am a 29 year-old artist and the founder of NiluArtes contemporary art atelier. I am a civil engineer and auditor who has always loved art.

I am Persian (yes, that's right, like the cats and carpets) and Brazilian. I moved to Brazil at the age of 13, I can speak 5 languages and I am a very curious person, always in search of knowlegde and creative inspiration, the fuels for my daily craft at NiluArtes.

Since I was born on the Asian continent and grew up in Brazil, these two cultural influences are present in my artistic expression. Sofistication, golden hues, geometry and the desire to communicate freedom (I am a woman and I was born in the Middle East, need I say more?) come from my Persian side; colorful motifs, light-heartedness and natural beauty come from my Brazilian side. I love this because it makes my artwork truly unique.
