My name is Oleg Ilyukhin. He started painting as an adult, although he loved to draw since childhood. In connection with the war, he left Ukraine. Through my work, I explore the depth of the consequences of military operations in Ukraine, and also express the emotional side of my feelings. My works are in private collections in Italy, France, Ukraine, Germany, USA.
I am Ukrainian. In 2014, my hometown of Donetsk was occupied by Russia through military action. I fled with my family to the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. In 2022, Russia unleashed a full-scale war in Ukraine. I had to flee again, this time from my own country. I am disabled and this made it possible for me to legally leave the country in March 2022. Currently received refugee protection in the UK. The pain for the destruction of my country and everything that the Ukrainian people are going through is reflected in my work. I believe that the world should not get used to the war in Ukraine and remember forever the consequences of wars.
He studied privately with the famous Ukrainian artist Viktor Semenyak. Passed all kinds of training courses, took part in exhibitions in Ukraine. Unfortunately, all documents were left in Ukraine due to the rapid move due to hostilities
