Pierfranco Argentiero

He started out as most photographers do, taking his first photos with a little Kodak 25 Instamatic camera which he received as a gift when he was 10 years old.
At about the age of 20 the real passion for photography arrived pulling him away from a steady office job and luring him to begin an adventure as assistant to a professional photographer in an agency.
Several years later he opened his own activity specializing in photos for publicity but also architecture, industry and portrait photos.
He worked with some of the most important names in the Italian textile industry such as T&J Vestor, Bellora, Somma, Gabel and Tag House, to name a few.
The fabrics taught him to respect the colors and to reproduce them as faithfully as possible.
From the jewels he learned to know light and undertand light, with its multiple ways of reflecting itself on surfaces and to penetrate everywhere “Understanding light, the photographer’s ink, requires much time.
At first you study it only to reveal the volumes.
Today I have a relationship with light of a much deeper understanding.”
