Pierre Gerard

Born in 1978, in France, Saint Etienne. Saint Etienne is not small enough so that everyone knows each other, and not big enough so that they are lot of things happening. I guess I got traumatized by living there cause I left and spent 11 years in London. Now I am back in France. Saint Etienne has evolved. I have evolved.

I make art. I could also make music. It was a choice between these 2. It took me years to get over this choice. And I still do music, for fun.

My art is very much like from a self taught person. I.e. it's very irregular. Some great pieces and some much less.

I tend to like painting crowds on fairly big canvasses.
