Women suffer the most in the Middle East. Their dreams, hopes are destroyed. Despite everything, they create their own music, dreams, hopes over and over again. I personally experience, or pass by, or just observe from a distance. My works combine elements of collage and digital photo-manipulation and digital illustration to produce dreamy images that reflect a different type of reality: My own. I love using illustration and photo manipulation together, creating a new imaginary image by bringing together many photos. I describe this whole process as "consolation through the colors of dreams'.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT :: As Virginia Woolf once stated: "As a woman, I have no country. As a woman, I want no country. As a woman, my country is the whole world." This feeling of "˜belonging nowhere but everywhere' is the essence of my life and art. Hence every work is a new journey that I anticipate with unspeakable joy and without worrying about the destination. My works combine elements of collage and digital photo-manipulation and digital illustration to produce dreamy images that reflect a different type of reality: My own. To me, art is breathing, taking a break from unbearable facts of the world. So that, I can transform the sorrow into a new energy form. By deconstructing, changing and combining the found images and my own photography, I aim to create a fictional imagery. This dreamy world reflects my own reactions to the facts that I personally experience, or pass by, or just observe from a distance. I describe this whole process as "˜consolation through the colors of dreams'. /// BIO- Kajal started her artistic life with drama.
