Tropical Gloom are based in Cambridgeshire, UK and works alongside other local artists on community projects; applying collage and mixed-media art, they also create audio-visual works for art galleries and exhibitions. Fascinated with abstract surrealism in all its forms; a fondness for archival trappings, ephemeral materials and fabrics, Tropical Gloom can be found painstakingly hunting-down hard-to-find source material, and they're always looking for hidden inspiration in the past. They mostly focus on unique collage projects and mixed-media artworks constructed from vintage magazines and found paper images.
