About The Artwork
Whos NeXT Here we have all the components of a Next Computer manufactured and sold by Next Computer circa 1992. NeXT was founded by Steve Jobs after his initial exit from Apple Computer. Next only sold approx 50,000 computers so this is indeed a rarity. This computer sold for USD $6,500, approx $12,195 in todays money. I used a bigger frame for this work so I could mount the die cast magnesium frame on the collage. Colours and acrylic paints used Primary: Amsterdam Lamp Black Accents: Liquitex; Heavy Body, Rich Copper, Rich Black Windsor and Newton; Hookers Green Amsterdam; Vermillion, Primary Yellow, Carmine
