ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Photo of a messy oil painting worktop which was then digitally processed. As it developed for some reason it reminded me of the type of graphic design people did in the 1980s. I used to teach using digital paint systems to designers and for video post production around then. Computer graphics systems were a bit coarse then with regard to resolution and colour, perhaps that is the association, anyway the 80s came into my mind and that started to guide the completion of the work.

Today the painting and the computer work interact sometimes, because of digital media I also retrieve and revisit old work when it merits it.
