Book of Remnant Print - Limited Edition of 10

"Book of Remnant" A component of the "Remnants of Time" work, I chose a book as a subject to represent the passing of time and stories recorded in scripture. Remnants of Time addresses the concept of witnessing and feeling what remains, either from relics, artifacts, objects, architectures, interiors, or even organisms — all leave trails of their existences, and most importantly — traces of their preexistence are imbued with memories from the past. These so-called “remnants” has embodied some meanings or records in a way that has taught us (the observers) of scrutinizing history, cultures, civilizations, and anecdotes — not by their epistemologies but by our very own ontologies Perhaps, these remnants have shown us our very shadows, our obsessions of interpreting and renewing the meaning of things (if there were any accurate meaning to it at all). It is highly common for us to have desires to preserve what we viewed as a heritage of history, as far as, we want to perceive things as they were, prevent further damage or change, and protect what is left of such mirages, yet inside all of us, we know our selfishness thrusts all timelines of histories.
