ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The banal is actually a series that started with the thought that it might be the most difficult aspect of life to maintain. I became bored with the world dotted with logos, nature, and architecture, which I often see, but I think that boredom is the emotion that best expresses the difficult ‘normal life’ for me. For a while, I did not do a print job that was duplicated, but I made this work as a print edition in hopes that it would be a repeated result like the subject.
