ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and non-binary gender identities have been documented in various ancient civilizations, such as ancient Greece and indigenous cultures, where they were often accepted as part of the normal spectrum of human experience, celebrated, or integrated into social and spiritual practices. These historical examples challenge the notion that these identities are recent or unnatural, highlighting the diversity of human expression across time and cultures. That is the idea behind this piece. I hope you enjoy the way my imagination works, even though this is a generative piece, I still follow my analog creative process.

Here, you will find paintings, illustrations created digitally and generatively. My work has evolved and will continue to do so. I believe that every creative goes through a transformation. Most of you have been familiar with my work for quite some time and will find that in some way my work has changed. As you know, my work has been always about recycling and reducing my impact on this planet. My textural work is about exactly that. The use of recycled materials and found objects helps me bring not only my work to life but also in a way bring awareness to the viewer about what we must recycle or re-use. For years I went through totes filled with recycled and found objects, most from my own home and studio and some given to me for re-using. Now that the totes are empty I find myself being called by the next step on reducing my impact on this planet. In 2006 I was introduced to digital art and now it is taking part in my new step on art. However, it is a fact that when it comes to human-created objects, there is an element of pollution and contamination in our environment. Seems like nothing is free from being 100% clean. However, by eliminating and reducing the use of harmful chemicals, and other unnecessary materials I could keep working on my passion. I hope you enjoy this page and postings. Feel free to comment. Fabrizio. Welcome to my next step! By painting and illustrating digitally, I get to lower my personal impact on our planet a lot more, and still indulge my passion. I paint, illustrate, and create things from my imagination.
