Everyone, Come to the Festival Print

The work is inspired by my personal project of running a film festival. I sit and daydream about what it is that a good festival looks like, and this is my estimation: a mass of folks, enjoying themselves in a blaze of colour, meeting together to see the cool thing on display. I hope that viewers will see hope in this piece. Hope that if you build something, the people will come. Hope that if we set our minds to anything, we can pull it off and make it a reality in our lives. I chose the style because I like this particular style. I have no time in my life, so therefore if I wish to make art I have to use the tools that allows me to be completely efficient with my time. It is unfortunate that I cannot spend longer on my art, but there it is. The inspiration is the sound of Paul Simon's Graceland. That is the inspiration for this piece.
