I think the Indian Foreign Minister recently stated that the economic, political and cultural dominance of the West in the past 200 hundred years or so was an aberration from the normal state of affairs and would not last. He seemed insightful and rational, perhaps time will prove him right. This picture is about the old past, its rhythm and influence, things rarely repeat themselves, all things change.

I was a painter to begin. I started doing computer art in the late 70s, programmed at first but then evolving into a couple of strands of practice. Today the painting and the computer work interact sometimes, because of digital media I also retrieve and revisit old work when it merits it.
